Diversity Arts Summer Retreat Was A Huge Success!
Twenty-one youth from 16 different schools across the St. Louis Metropolitan region, local artists and community leaders came together in artistic creation and community dialogue to explore issues of racism, sexism, homophobia,
able-ism and religious intolerance. Ending in a phenomenal Open Mic and Gallery show, our students performed for 130 guests at the Regional Arts Commission on July 18. Photos & video from the Open Mic will be available soon at http://www.dapstl.org/. Thank you to the Missouri Arts Council and the Regional Arts Commission for making this program possible!
