The Diversity Awareness Partnership

The Diversity Awareness Partnership is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to promoting diversity in the St. Louis region around issues of race, religion, disability, sexual orientation and gender identity. We achieve our mission through youth programs, diversity training, community forums and diversity publications. Themed Make a Difference by Accepting Everyone Else's, the Diversity Awareness Partnership has become a replicable model for communities across the nation in advancing diversity and inclusion efforts.

Thank you to our local Business Leaders for your effort, commitment and enthusiasm in developing a more diverse and inclusive St. Louis.

"We are honored to join the Diversity Awareness Partnership in their efforts to promote diversity and inclusion in St. Louis and the surrounding areas.  We realize that true inclusion requires intentional effort.  At Ameren we are committed to being an inclusive employer and member of the community.  This diversity in thought and action is what gives us and our region a competitive edge.”

—Tom Voss, President & CEO of Ameren Corporation

“I am proud to support The Diversity Awareness Partnership as DAP advances global diversity and inclusion to support and sustain individuals, communities, institutions, and businesses in the region.   Their mission and Webster University’s are a natural match, and we are honored to host their offices at our Old Post Office downtown campus. “

—Beth Stroble, President of Webster University

"By working and living together in a community, we become more productive and positive as we learn to appreciate and understand the diversity and difference around us. The Diversity Awareness Partnership's work to improve understanding, acceptance, and awareness is helping change and improve lives. It has been my honor to be part of this important work since it's inception in 2001."

—Frieda Smith, DAP Advisory Board

"Diversity gives greater context and meaning to our lives. By examining how we are similar and different from others, we can learn more about what is important in our world. DAP makes it easier to understand the importance of diverse communities."

— Bill Donius, St. Louis Business Leader
